The Whole Armor of God
While meditating on putting on the whole armor of God (cf. Ephesians 6:10—17), the thought creeped into my mind that putting on the armor of God is somewhat like preparing for a football game. Both require protective armor. A Christian puts on the “helmet of salvation;” a football player puts on head gear. My First Blog
I must express my exuberance as I write my first blog for the new website. My prayers for this website are that it will bring encouragement and freedom to all who are struggling with addictions. My expertise, through personal experience, is dealing with chemical addiction. I understand there are other addictions that are just as destructive and hard to break as an addiction to alcohol, drugs, and nicotine. However, the same biblical principles that apply to setting one free from a chemical addiction will work just as well on other addictions. Using the principles set forth in Scripture and trusting …
