I must express my exuberance as I write my first blog for the new website. My prayers for this website are that it will bring encouragement and freedom to all who are struggling with addictions. My expertise, through personal experience, is dealing with chemical addiction. I understand there are other addictions that are just as destructive and hard to break as an addiction to alcohol, drugs, and nicotine. However, the same biblical principles that apply to setting one free from a chemical addiction will work just as well on other addictions. Using the principles set forth in Scripture and trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit you can break the shackles of addiction.
I am excited to be a part of your quest to be free from any addiction that hinders your spiritual walk with Christ, and to have you be a part of my life through this website. (It is a small world we live in.) I will do my best to give biblical insight into the issues that arise in our daily lives. Learning to apply biblical principles to every situation we encounter, I believe, will bring a God honoring solution and work out for the good of God’s people.
