Grim Reality

July 21, 2020 //  by Jim Moreland//  30 Comments

I know it has been a while since I posted on my web-site. I must admit that I have been confused, not about my faith in Christ, but in the poor response to the articles I have posted in the past. My heart has been broken for a very long time for America and its people as I have watched the madness and hatred that possesses so many people all across America. But in the past few months my heart has gone from broken to shattered over what is transpiring in America today. Many  are crying out for freedom and …

Enter Through the Narrow Gate

February 11, 2020 //  by Jim Moreland//  Leave a Comment

In my youth, I followed the wide path through life hoping to find answers to the questions, why I am here and why am I so miserable. The wide path, or wide road, really doesn’t have any lasting solution to those questions. Certain endeavors can bring some temporary relief, but when the newness wears off and the pain returns you realize the futility of it all. Getting a second chance at life is something many of us have desired at some point in our lives. Reaching out for that second chance seems to be one of the most difficult gestures for us to do. I don’t know if it’s because we don’t want to admit that we totally messed up life, or fear keeps us from grabbing a hold of such a precious opportunity. I discovered a second chance at life in a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We try to make life so complicated but the simple truth, I have found, is that there is a …

Vaping is Addictive and Dangerous

August 23, 2019 //  by Jim Moreland//  Leave a Comment

The enemy of your soul, Satan, continues to find new ways to destroy the physical health that God wishes for his children. Vaping is sweeping the country, especially among our youth. The addictive element in these vaping devices is still the same as cigarettes, nicotine, that addiction is what continues to draw people to the purchase of such destructive products. In the past few weeks, 16 States have reported 153 severe incidents of vaping related lung respiratory illnesses.  I believe that we are just now scratching the surface of the damage these products will do to the health of our …
