I know it has been a while since I posted on my web-site. I must admit that I have been confused, not about my faith in Christ, but in the poor response to the articles I have posted in the past. My heart has been broken for a very long time for America and its people as I have watched the madness and hatred that possesses so many people all across America. But in the past few months my heart has gone from broken to shattered over what is transpiring in America today.
Many are crying out for freedom and justice, which according to our constitution is the God given right of every American, I believe in that precept with all of my heart. I believe those who are destroying private property and destroying monuments of our history are in serious error if freedom and Justice is what they are really seeking. Someone once said that if we make the mistake of forgetting our past we are doomed to repeat it.
Is that the course we are on in our history today–another civil war? Nothing has ever been settled or accomplished through vain attempts at trying to erase history and make past injustices just; on the contrary, we must grasp a hold of our history and learn the painful lessons about the inhumanity, injustice, and loss of freedom every war and unjust act has brought upon the human race.
True freedom and justice can only be administered by a holy and righteous being and only Jesus Christ possesses that title. Until America embraces its Christian (roots) history it will never reach the kind of justice and freedom it seeks. This only comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. Not by anarchy. The simple truth is that all of fallen humanity, without Christ, can never be truly and completely justified and free.
Grim Reality
I woke from a dream last night,
Within a reality of fright,
In a world where no smiles were seen,
No faces to gleam,
Only sad eyes stared back at me,
Seeking solace from a strange reality,
A canvas of fear is painted on broken hearts,
Crying out and wondering why,
All the world has fallen apart,
So much to lose with nothing to gain,
While freedom cries out with such disdain,
I woke up to a world, very different than I have known,
Where people must, in fear, keep their distance and moan,
Oh, where have all the smiles gone,
One thing we must remember behind every cloud the Son does shine,
A place where no mask needs to be worn,
Only in Christ is freedom and justice truly owned,
